The Vermont Welcome Center is located in Guilford, VT off of 91. It has bathrooms, Vermont history, vending machines, and lots of friendly faces. There are always interesting and unique things on display here, which change seasonally.
The main building for the Vermont Welcome Center features an impressive barn style timber frame with hand hewn pine timbers that is one of Vermont Timber Works’ favorite projects.

This painted cat is part of the Catamount Street Art Festival. I hear there are more of these Catamount’s in the area, but I’ve only seen Poppy, so far.

Woodstock Moose
This is Woodstock, he is very colorful, made of metal and was created by Payne & Elise Junker of Junker Studios in Chester, VT. I believe there was a price tag on him, but I didn’t peek at it.
Let’s go inside as the most fun is looking up at the timber frame. Well, for me anyway!
