The Napa California Barn, located in the heart of wine country, was designed as a recreational space. It features a music studio, a massive central fireplace, and several areas for friends and family to gather and relax. The owners also wanted to have a covered space to enjoy the breathtaking outdoor scenery. The frame is fabricated from hand hewn oak and finished with stain and urethane. It uses a king post truss design with a steel gusset plate.
Vermont Timber Works worked with Deer Creek Studio Architecture on this project.
