Schmidt Werks Residence - Darien, CT
SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MORE ABOUT THE SCHMIDT RESIDENCE

We worked with Robert E. Young Associates, Architects, engineers Dufresne-Henry and Condon-Brown Builders. The Original house, in the front of the photo above, is a reconstructed 1790's tavern, so the owner wanted an authentic hand hewn frame for the addition. Look for this post and beam home to be featured on the cover of House Beautiful Magazine's December 2003 issue.

This 1,580 square foot timber frame addition features hand hewn native white pine timbers with traditional mortise and tenon joinery.
