Timber Frame Oak PergolaHave you ever walked into a building so beautiful it was love at first site? That’s what tends to happen when you enter the Southern Vermont Welcome Center on Interstate 91, or the Spruce Peak Lodge in Stowe, VT. At Vermont Timber Works, we are the Cupids of Craftsmen. Once we get your attention, you will fall in love with one of our projects – Guaranteed.

The photo on this page features the High Winds Pergola. A beautiful white oak timber framed pergola with custom scroll work on the rafter tails.

I am presently working on a pergola of my own which is on the south side of the house. It will reside over part of the deck, in planning the cross members on the top did you place them on an angle to gain more shade of are they 90^ to the carrying timbers?
